Looking for up to 6 contemporary dancers for a choreographic residency and performance opportunity in Madeira, Portugal.
Where: Madeira, Portugal
When: 8-22 November, 2026
Deadline for applications: 31 August 2026
We are looking for up to 6 dancers with strong contemporary dance technique who are comfortable working in an intensive, short-term creative process. This residency (8-22 November) will mark the launch of NOMADIS Dance Company and will include creation, rehearsals, movement research, repertoire work and a live performance opportunity on 20 November 2026.
Experience with partner work/lifts is welcome, and proficiency in English is required.

This opportunity is otherwise unpaid, beyond the costs covered mentioned.
Applications are open to all nationalities and participants will be responsible for their own travel arrangements.
