For the Dutch National Ballet Academy (NBA), we are looking, as from 1 January 2020, for a: Classical Ballet teacher Dutch National Ballet Academy (0.5 - 0.7 FTE). The Dutch National Ballet Academy (NBA) is the top classical dance training in the Netherlands, under the artistic direction of Ernst Meisner. The NBA trains talented young dancers to the highest level and consists of an internal preliminary course and a contiguous higher professional degree programme (Dutch hbo). The Dutch National Ballet Academy is the only ballet study programme affiliated with the internationally renowned ballet company the Dutch National Ballet. The NBA trains talented children to become professional classical dancers who excel in both romantic classical and modern ballet repertoire. The Classical Ballet teacher will form part of a team of about 15 teachers and will work at both the Agamamnonstraat (preliminary course) and the Jodenbreestraat (higher professional education) location. The NBA currently has approx. 145 pupils and students, and is a training that is continuously being developed.
