Penguins American Tour: choreographer Carlos Pons Guerra seeks one female dancer for the 2019 UK Christmas run and 2020 American spring tour of children’s dance production Penguins, directed by Paul Mc Eneaney and choreographed by Pons Guerra for Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Cahoots NI. Seeking a dancer with excellent contemporary and classical technique (no pointe work needed), maximum height approx. 1.60 m, with excellent physical acting skills and character work. We are looking for a charming performer who can play a thoughtful young girl and a dynamic baby penguin. An audition, by invitation only, will take place at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on June 7.
